[Bug] Undefined variable $avatarep_script in global.php

Hello,

Just installed your theme and like it. But I got the following errors at the top of forum:

Warning  [2] Undefined variable $avatarep_script - Line: 16 - File: global.php(958) : eval()'d code PHP 8.1.27 (Linux)

Warning  [2] Undefined variable $avatarep_script - Line: 17 - File: global.php(958) : eval()'d code PHP 8.1.27

Any chance to fix this?

Hi Toriatama,

Could you just confirm which one of my themes you are using and what version of PHP you are using? The error originates in the headerinclude template. Could you copy and paste the contents of that template here please?

Also please be sure you have uploaded all contents of the .zip package to your server. If avatarep.js is missing, the variable in headerinclude will produce error message.

Instructions are available in the readme.txt file, including installation instruction orders.

I am using the Curves UI Theme.
The PhP is 8.1 (shared server). The hosting service allows me to select PhP 8.1, 8.2 or 8.3, but I'm not sure if all work with MyBB forum.
The theme downloaded is "Inspired (responsive)" version 1.4.1 (Date Uploaded 2024-01-21, 04:21 PM), from MyBB Themes.

I am not used to play with templates. 
I've tried to reinstall the Inspired Responsive theme.
Now I get much more errors, I do not understand why...

Go to 'Ungrouped Templates' down the bottom of template list, and you'll find 'headerinclude'. That's the one I need.

I haven't had time to update Inspired series so some of the templates may be outdated currently.

Other errors can be eliminated by going to ACP > Templates & Style > Templates > Curves UI/Inspired > Forum Bit Templates > forumbit_depth2_forum_lastpost

What has happened is you have installed theme before activating plugin, which should be done opposite way because theme already included those variables, and activating plugin after theme install will insert duplicate variables for plugin in theme.

Remove the duplicated {$avatarep_script} from headerinclude template - there are 2, should only be 1.

Remove {$avbr} from forumdisplay_thread and forumbit_depth1_lastpost templates and should solve.

forumdisplay_thread = I found this one and removed it
forumbit_depth1_lastpost = I did not find other {$avbr} in all the forumbit templates.

So still have a few errors here and there:
